Jason Scott Schreiner
Jason Scott Schreiner, 35, passed away on November 18, 2012 in an automobile accident. Born October 30, 1977 in Carson City, Michigan, he was the son of Louis Schreiner and Dawn Nidini. Jason married Michelle (Kimes) Schreiner in Saginaw, Michigan on August 7, 2006. Michelle survives him.
Also surviving are their three children, Dakota, Colten and Shalynn Schreiner, his parents, Louis (Kathy) Schreiner, of Bannister and Dawn Nidini, of Missouri, sister, Hanna Schreiner, brother, Robert Thompson, mother and father-in-law, Stan (Renae) Kimes, brother-in-law, Matthew Kimes as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason was preceded in death by his brother, Shaun Schreiner and grandparents, Andrew and Marie Schreiner.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 24, 2012 at the Houghton Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes, 232 E. Oak St., Ovid, MI, with Pastor Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. at the funeral home.

Arlene C. Rademacher
Arlene C. Rademacher, 92 of St. Johns, MI died at Hazel Findlay Country Manor on Sunday November 18, 2012. Arlene was born on July 4, 1920 in Westphalia, MI the daughter of Frank and Pauline (Belen) Trierweiler.
Arlene was a homemaker and had worked at the Carol Ann Shop for several years. She married Walter Rademacher and he died in 1956; and then on October 26, 1957 she married Norman Rademacher in Pewamo, MI. Arlene was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, in St. Johns, President of the Altar Society for many years, enjoyed playing cards, golfing and she especially loved her family, neighbors and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Norm; daughters JoAnn (Daniel) Becker of Texas, Kay Rademacher of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Karen (Larry) Carpenter of Texas; sons Donald (Drucilla) Rademacher of St. Johns, Eugene Rademacher of Bay City, and Daniel (Susan) Rademacher of Mt. Pleasant, MI; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; brother Francis (Wilma) Trierweiler of Westphalia and sister Joyce Kloekner of Grand Ledge, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Diane Rademacher in 1996, grandson, Jeff Rademacher; brothers Melvin and Leland, sisters Margaret Fedewa, Helen Daley, Genevieve LaRue and Mary Jane Grove.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns, MI on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Fr. Michael Williams as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Pewamo, MI.
Rosary/vigil service will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2012. The family will receive friends and relatives at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home Tuesday November 20, 2012, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic School St. Johns, MI or Hazel Findlay Country Manor.
Mike W. Upton, Jr.
Mike W. Upton, Jr., 34, passed away at home, surrounded by his family on November 19, 2012. He was born September 12, 1978 in Carson City, Michigan. He was the son of Mike Upton, Sr. and Debbie (Lobsinger) Shook.
Mike is survived by his parents, Debbie (Gary) Shook and Mike (Dena) Upton, Sr., his siblings, Rob Shook, Billi (Nic) Ney, Aubree (Jason) Akers, Rikki Shook, Tyler (Laura) Shook, Weston Shook, Spencer Shook, Nathan (Christina) Upton, Adam (Liz) Upton, Jordan (Peggy Bigelow) Upton, nieces & nephews, Lilith, Dameon and Kayla Upton, Makayla, Carter, and Addyson Ney, Brooklyn Knaus, Macie and Bryn Akers, as well as his grandmothers, Carol Grubaugh and Virginia Green. He was preceded in death by his step-father, William Bancroft, uncle, Rick Lopsinger, and his grandparents, Woodrow (Virginia) Upton and John Green.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 21, 2012 at the Maple Rapids Congregational Christian Church, with Pastor Kissling officiating. Burial will follow the service at Eureka Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns.

Arlene Valere Hull
Arlene Valere Hull, 69, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:15pm with her loved ones by her side. Arlene was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 5, 1943 to Lewie and Mildred Hull. She became a Registered Nurse at the age of twenty and for the next 49 years she loved giving care to those that were in her charge. She retired in 2010 after 29 years at Pitt Memorial Hospital. She was a member of a philanthropic group that raised money for a variety of charities. She supported animal rights, Vietnam vets, Green Peace, Humane society, Smile Train, and The Salvation Army.
She was predeceased by her three loving siblings, Dick Hull, Doug Hull and Mary Hull. She is leaving behind 5 nieces and one nephew, Brenda, Lisa, Candy, Lewie, Marcia, and Rebecca, also four great nephews, Christopher, Richie, Tyler, and Mike. She also leaves behind Sharon Camp and Lori Osier to whom Arlene was like a Mother, her God Daughter, Christina Osier, and grandchildren, Aaron, Renée, PJ, Rebecca and Regan.
A Memorial Service for Arlene will be held 11 A.M. Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Osgood Funeral Home in St Johns, Michigan, burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Arlene’s name to the Human Society’s pet adoption program, Arlene had a huge heart for animals; all of her pets were in some way adopted.
