Justice of the Peace – Revisited

The main building was the office of the justice of the peace, Carl Bunge.
Two things I recently noticed in this photo: The small attached building to the left was a hat shop. I have no idea who owned it. And in the back is a log building with a Sinclair sign on it which indicates it was a gas station.
The partial view of the building on the left shows us what used to be the American Legion Post before they moved across the street to make way for a new building. The sign hanging from the building tells us this is the Union Telephone office.
Yes, this was the future site of the City of St. Johns Municipal Building.
