The Clinton County Senior Center is holding a Daffodil Days fundraiser on Saturday, April 13 from 11 am to 2 pm. There will be three contests (Daffodil Arranging, Yellow and Orange Dessert and Daffodil Craft Project).
The cost is $5 to enter each contest. A first prize gift basket valued at $50 will be awarded for each contest. All entries become the property of the Senior Center and will be auctioned off after the judging. There will be a luncheon of hotdogs, potato salad, cookie and drink available for $3.
Pick up an entry form at the Senior Center at 201 E Walker Street in St. Johns or call Paul at 989-224-4257.
One of the reasons for this new fundraiser is that the Senior Center, along with other area non-profits are no longer able to hold Bake Sales at Krogers. Annual proceeds from the bake sales amounted to almost $5,000 which the Senior Center must now raise elsewhere.
