Sunday, May 5
With Mother’s Day a feature of the month, May’s Sunday Event at the Gallery offers some attractive selections to honor Mom on her day.
Karen Gillespie, the featured artist, will have a number of her paintings on display, and along with those selections, she will have on hand representations of her enchanting fairy gardens and specialty note cards, suitable for most every occasion.
As usual, this monthly open house which has become a regular attraction at the Gallery will run Sunday May 5th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with refreshments on the agenda. The May event is sponsored by Sirrine and Associates, Inc.
The Gallery is located at 215 N. Clinton Ave. in St. Johns and information regarding these monthly get-togethers – and other Council related activities – can be obtained by calling 989 224-2329 or visiting clintoncountyarts.com.
Activities of the Arts Council are made possible through generous sponsorships, such as offered by the Rotary Club and regular membership dues and donations. These sources are supplemented by periodic grants from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs which is a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
