Senior Center programs and activities

November, 2013
The Clinton County Senior Center has two brief presentations that will be made at the center in November that the general public is invited to.
On Tuesday, November 12 Adjunct Professor Benjamin Edwards from the Investor Advocacy Clinton from the Michigan State University College of Law will make a presentation about Investment Fraud, with particular attention to investment schemes targeting senior citizens. The presentation will begin at 11:00 am and will take approximately 30 minutes, plus time for questions.
Then on Friday, November 15, Steve Stanley, a medical representative from NBO (Neuropathy, Balance and Osteoarthritis) Community Outreach will be at the center to talk about Peripheral Neuropathy. If you or someone you know has any of these symptoms in your hands or feet, this is something you should take time to listen to: pain, prickling and tingling, sharp electrical shocks, numbness, cramping or trouble sleeping due to hand or feet discomfort. The presentation will begin at 10:00 am and will take about 30 minutes, plus time for questions. Attendees will not be asked to purchase products or services from either of these presentations.
