March 29
Our Vietnam veterans answered our country’s call and served with honor, and on March 29, 1973, the last of our troops left Vietnam. Yet, in one of the war’s most profound tragedies, many of these men and women came home to be shunned or neglected — to face treatment unbefitting their courage and a welcome unworthy of their example.
We must never let this happen again.

So welcome home, brothers and sisters, 41 years after the last of our troops left Vietnam. We welcome our Vietnam veteran’s home!
On March 29th from 2-4 ALL veterans are welcome to join in camaraderie, fellowship, and fun.
Join us at American Legion Post 153 to Welcome our Veterans Home.
All Vets are welcome, but a special thanks goes out to the Vietnam vets who weren’t treated very well when they came home. (courtesy of Lori Smalley)
