On Saturday, May 10 the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce will host a Springtime Community Festival that will include a Craft Show, Touch a Truck, Free Entertainment and Free Kids Crafts. The event will be held at the CC RESA Building at 1013 S US 27 in St. Johns from 9 am to 3 pm.
Lots of people will walk away winners at the Springtime Festival. There will be drawings throughout the day with over 30 prizes awarded that are donated by the craft vendors. They will also be giving away an XBOX and kids can win a boys or girls bike. A special drawing of over $100 in gift certificates will be awarded at the end of the day. You will get entered for the gift certificate drawing every time you make a purchase from a vendor between the hours of 1:00 and 2:30 pm.
They still have space for a few more vehicles in the Touch a Truck area that includes police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, etc that kids of all ages can get up close to and sit in. They are looking for things that kids would find fascinating such as huge tractors or farm equipment that have tires bigger than the kids. If you have a piece of farm equipment or a “service vehicle”, please give the Chamber a call today.
There are also still a few spaces available for craft vendors either inside or outside of the building. Inside and outside vendor booths are $30 or $35 depending on the size desired. In addition to all the prizes that will be awarded, the first 50 people arriving at 9:00 am will receive a treat bag. An additional 50 treat bags will be given out again at 1:00 pm. All questions about the Springtime Festival should be directed to the Chamber at 989-224-7248.
