Special Olympics Area 28, Clinton County, mourns the loss of a member of our family … athlete, Joey Hutchings. Joey passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning, June 15, 2014.
Joey participated in several sports, including basketball, bocce, softball and poly hockey. He won many medals and ribbons as an athlete in Special Olympics. He was giving and always willing to support his family and his fellow athletes. Joey will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
Area 28 is holding a memorial and a celebration of Joey’s life at the main pavilion in St Johns City Park, Friday, June 20, starting at 6pm. They will be sharing snacks, photos, and wonderful memories.
