Raising young readers

An Early Childhood Workshop
Recent research from the Kids Count data shows that Michigan’s children are not reading proficiently. Learn about the importance of children reading at grade level by the end of third grade and gain skills on how to provide literacy rich environments for children.
This workshop is offered by MSU Extension in Clinton County for interested parents, child care providers, and preschool teachers on December 9, 2014, from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, at the Clinton County Courthouse (100 E. State Street) in St. Johns. Please call in advance to register at 989-224-5241. There is a $5 fee, payable at the door.
