Goodwins Key Club and Builders Club
A lot of kids moved a lot of leaves recently when members of the Goodwins Key Club and Builders Club joined forces as a team to clear the yards of several St. Johns residents.
The two groups, sponsored by St. Johns Kiwanis spent the better part of a Sunday afternoon in the effort and five yards became neat and leaf free.
Directing the charge were leaders Kiwanian Gary Carpenter and High School Staff member Kari Simon-Pieters. Ms. Pieters is founder and advisor of the Goodwins Key Club.
Part of each club’s purpose is to identify and respond to community needs.
