Eat Smart, Live Strong Program

At Senior Center
For the next four Wednesdays (January 28, February 4, February 11 and February 18) the Clinton County MSU Extension will put on a program at the Clinton County Senior Center called Eat Smart, Live Strong. It will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the center located at 201 E Walker Street in St. Johns.
The program encourages people to eat better and exercise more, focusing on eating at least 3 ½ cups of fruits and vegetables every day and participating in at least 30 minutes of physical activity most days of the week.
The four week program will include:
1) Step by Step ideas to Reach Your Goals,
2) Challenges and Solutions,
3) Colorful and Classic Favorites and
4) Eat Smart, Spend Less.
The program is offered free to senior citizens, but you must RSVP by Monday, January 26 to the Senior Center at 989-224-4257 if you will be participating. All participants are welcome to stay for a meal at the center after each weekly program. Lunch meals are available for a suggested $3 donation.
