What Children Need to Know

An Early Childhood Workshop
By the end of Kindergarten a child will have been in class for 700 hours; but before it begins, parents, child care providers, family members, churches, businesses, libraries and communities will have spent 52,000 hours with the child. Learn how to best support early learning and school readiness.
This workshop is offered by MSU Extension for interested parents, child care providers, and preschool teachers on February 2, 2015, from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, at the St. Peter Lutheran School (8990 Church Road) in St. Johns. Please call in advance to register at 989-224-5241. There is a $5 fee, payable at the door.
MSU Extension offers a variety of early childhood workshops throughout the year. Upcoming workshops include Supporting Military Families in Early Childhood; Developing Life Skills through Science; 1-2-3 Math; and Yield for Teachable Moments. Please call 989-224-5241 for more information.
