The CIS Trail: Cross country skier with a really wide stance or snowmobiler? You make the call.
The City of St. Johns and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources hope everybody is enjoying the new, snow covered CIS Trail for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, walking or winter running.
Please be aware that winter ATVs are not allowed on the trail. If you see these vehicles using the trail, please call 911 immediately to report.
We want to ensure that winter ATVs do not damage the trail or cross the Veteran’s Memorial at Clinton Avenue.
In addition you should also report the activity to the appropriate Conservation Officer Lieutenant so that they are aware of the problem. Here are the Conservation Officer Lieutenants for each county:
