If you have a sweet tooth the place to be on Thursday, February 5 will be the Clinton County Senior Center, located at 201 E Walker Street in St. Johns. From 6-8 pm they will hold their annual Chocolate Fantasy where more than 25 chocolate creations will be available for sampling.
They will have everything from chocolate covered blueberries to chocolate peppermint cookies, chocolate caramel brownies, white chocolate cranberry cookies, chocolate fudge coffee and much more. The creations come from many individuals and some businesses like Big Boy, Main Street, Mancino’s and Paramount Coffee.
The event costs $10 per person and tickets are available from Senior Center Board members, at the Senior Center and at the Chamber of Commerce office (1013 S US 27). Tickets will also be available at the door. Take outs will be available.
Proceeds from the event will help pay for the heating bills during the cold winter months. Major sponsors for the annual event include Grace Haven Assisted Living, Mckenzie Crosby Agency, Sundance Buick GMC, Thrivent Financial, Clinton Ophthalmology, PC, Journey Federal Credit Union, Sparrow Clinton Hospital and Walgreens.
