Will perform July 22nd
The rapid growth of the Mid-Michigan Festival Orchestra is one of the reasons the St. Johns City Park Performance Shell was built to replace the old band shell.

This picture, taken at the old band shell in 1985, shows the very first Mid-Michigan Festival Orchestra, put together for the first modern day Mint Festival. As the orchestra grew, it started to spill over the sides of the stage and could no longer fit on the concrete platform.
Today the Mid-Michigan Festival Orchestra is 60+ members strong and appears every summer at the new Performance Shell. You can hear them there on July 22nd.
