Clinton County Senior Center
The Clinton County Senior Center currently has a volunteer that is working on 20 quilts to donate to the Center. The center would like to help the volunteer by getting her quilt batting and large pieces of fabric for the backs. Anything from twin to queen size batting is needed.
If you can help, please drop these items off at the Senior Center, which is located at 201 E Walker Street, just one block east of downtown St. Johns. Or, if you need things picked up, please call 989-224-4257.
The quilts once completed will be sold in one of the Senior Center’s Gift Shops. The center has two Gift Shops, one with homemade items such as the quilts, afghans, pillows, pet blankets, table runners, baby sweater sets, gloves, mittens, etc. The other gift shop has glassware (some antique), books, puzzles and other misc items. The Gift Shops are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Shoppers are always welcome.
