No room for boredom

At Kids Art Camp
School has only been out a few days and expressions of “I’m bored,” or “Nuthin’ to do,” haven’t had time to pop up. A perfect way to delay those expressions is the summer time adventure into creativity offered by the “Kids Art Camp” sponsored by Clinton County Arts Council.
It’s a hands on program offering exposure to a variety of creative experiences ranging from the excitement of completing a drawing or painting, adding character to on old bottle or giving life to an otherwise useless rock.
An entire new creative experience can awaken a laid-back spirit and the varied world of art offers a surprising beginning. The excitement of completing a drawing, painting a design on a discarded bottle:
or becoming a buddy with a stone that becomes a tiny frog. All forms of adventure that kids attending “Kids Art Camp” might well experience.
Samples of what kids may complete include drawings, cartoon characters, pottery and tiny box creations.
