During September open house
The September open house at the Clinton County Arts Council Gallery will feature a local artist who works in a variety of media, including oil, acrylic and pastels.
Susan Fernholz, who has conducted several classes through the Arts Council, is slated to present many of her works Sunday September 11 from 1-3 p.m., including paintings, and note cards for every occasion. Ms Fernholz has had showing around Michigan including locations such as Saginaw, Mackinaw Island and several of her pieces are currently on display at the Arts Council Gallery.
Enjoy some time Sunday September 11 between 1 and 3 p.m. chatting with the artist and hearing of her uses of the media she uses. Her time at the Galley is generously hosted by the St. Johns Lions Club and, routinely, refreshments will be served. The Gallery is located at 215 N. Clinton Ave. in St. Johns.
These monthly events and the many other activities of the Arts Council are made possible through a cooperative funding base involving membership dues, local contributions and support from the partnership of Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
