Vote For Clinton County Arts Council Project

artsthVoting ends September 22
You can help bring $5,000 to the county’s middle school arts programs by going on the Mercantile Giving Together Facebook page and voting for Clinton County Arts Council. This is because Clinton County Arts Council (CCAC) submitted a grant to Mercantile Bank in July for funds to help finance the Middle School Art Challenge, started in 2013 by CCAC. The project was selected to be one of ten in the state of Michigan vying for votes of support.
You may vote by visiting the Mercantile Bank of Michigan Facebook page. In order to vote you must have a Facebook account; be a legal resident of the State of Michigan, and be 18 years of age or older. The voting will be open September 15 – 22 and you may vote only once for the CCAC program during that time. The project that gets the most votes will win $5,000 from Mercantile Bank.
It will be extremely helpful if you would alert your friends and relatives throughout Michigan to vote if they meet the requirements above. The Middle School Art Challenge consists of all willing middle schools having teams that create posters which will be judged by a professional artist for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards in addition to being voted on by the public for the People’s Choice award. Those awards will benefit the winning students’ schools art programs. All participating schools will receive funds for supplies for the contest.
