Linda Ruehle, seated, was the featured artist during the Clinton County Arts Council’s Gallery open house Sunday April 3. Assisting with imprinting designs in the new pieces are Susan McGuire, left, and Sue Newcom.
Ms Ruehle’s pieces in pottery have been displayed at the Gallery on numerous occasions, but her work during the Sunday event had special significance. She created a number of trays that will be used to serve refreshments during future events held at the Gallery.
The Sunday open house was sponsored by Sirrine and Associates locally. Additional support for all Council activities comes from various grants from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
