Wednesday, August 27
That’s Alright Baby – you won’t miss a note when you attend the Silent Auction at the St. Johns City Park main pavilion on Wednesday, August 27 during “Elvis” Matt King’s performance.
Blue Suede Shoes were not donated for the Silent Auction – but you’ll get All Shook Up when you see the variety of items and gift certificates available.
If you are looking for something that has been “Always On My Mind” you may just find it there. We have a large assortment of items from A to Y ( Andy T’s Pies to Youth group’s donation of Goodwins’ time).
Don’t Be Cruel, stop by and bid on that perfect item (perhaps the lovely necklace from Harr’s). It’s Now Or Never, this silent auction – and “Elvis” – Matt King only comes around once a year! That’s All Right if you want to come early. The Silent Auction starts at 6 PM.
The proceeds from the Silent Auction will benefit the restoration of the historic train cars owned by Clinton County Arts Council (CCAC), which Clinton Northern Railway Museum is a branch of. The cars are located by the depot in St Johns and are open for touring Sundays, 1 – 3 PM, May – October.
CCAC is grateful to receive a portion of its operating funds from Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and National Endowment for the Arts. It’s going to be Such A Night. I’m Counting on You!
