Parade

This photo of a bagpipe band in a parade was taken sometime in the early 1960s that may have been a Soap Box Derby parade.
Most interesting are the businesses in the background. From left to right is a Philco appliance store that I haven’t been able to identify followed by E. MacKinnon & Son, Holden Reid, Min-a-Mart, Wieber Hardware, Glaspie Drug Store, Eisler’s Superette, and last but not least, the Steel Hotel.
None of these places remain in business today.
