Knee-High by the Fourth

How many of us have ever seen a corn stalk this tall? It had to have been more than knee-high by the 4th of July!
This view of E. Walker St. taken in front of the old Clinton County Republican News building is facing west. On the left side (south) are Miller Furniture and the Episcopal Parish Hall. On the right the old Consumers Power Co. building.
No other signs are readable but we can identify Parr’s Drugs and Clinton National Bank with its famous clock on the corner.
