by Barry Bauer

Westphalia’s Quasquicentennial police, with guns drawn, make another arrest and haul the perpetrator off to be locked up in the Bastille made famous by St. Johns’ Centennial celebration in 1956.
Westphalia celebrated their Quasquicentennial in 1961 so they have a bit of a head start on St. Johns.
[Editor’s note: Yes folks, there is such a thing as a Quasquicentennial. It means a celebration of the 125th anniversary. Remember how we had trouble pronouncing Sesquicentennial? It could have been worse.]
