William R. Aldrich of Maple Rapids was congratulated by Bill Patton, branch manager, for winning the electric outdoor grill in a drawing held by Capitol Savings & Loan Association of St. Johns.
After Bill Patton’s death the Chamber of Commerce created an award in his honor and is given out every year to a recipient who exemplifies community service, professionalism, religious involvement, and the highest standards of moral character and conduct.
