Baker College of Owosso will hold its 2014 Financial Aid Workshop, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 1309 S. M-52, Owosso.
The workshop is free of charge and open to all high school seniors and their families, regardless of whether or not the students have identified their college of choice. Reservations are limited.
The event is designed to help attendees understand the various types of financial aid and to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2014-2015 academic year by the March 1 deadline. Statistics show that students who complete and submit FAFSA forms are more likely to go to college.
The schedule is:

11:30 a.m. Optional campus tours
Advisors will be available to provide one-on-one assistance to complete the online FAFSA form, answer questions and offer information about Baker College of Owosso.
If possible, students and parents should bring their 2013 federal and state 1040 tax returns, W-2 forms and untaxed income amounts (such as ADC, SSI, child support, etc.)
