Bath Township Police Dept. Bike Rodeo

With an Album
On Wednesday, August 17th, the Bath Township Police Department held a Bike Rodeo at Bath four corners.
Local community children came to be instructed in bike safety, traffic safety, pedestrian safety, hand-signaling, helmet safety and general safety tips.
Chief Scott Rose, Officer Kip Harman and Lieutenant Lyle Lindemulder spearheaded the rodeo. C. J. Modolo, Lansing Area Safety Council, lent a hand to instruct on helmet safety.
“Knowing our local law enforcement cares for community members enough to hold a bike rodeo is awesome! The event is free for any child interested in coming. It is held every other year. The Lansing Area Safety Council donated helmets for the event. It makes me happy inside to be able to fit children, properly, for helmets and to give them to those who would not otherwise have the means.
The greatest gift of all is the privilege of educating someone, hence, knowing you may have saved a life,” says, C. J. Modolo, L. A. S. C. instructor.
