At Arts Council Gallery
A regularly scheduled beading instructor, Deborah Laverty, has two classes planned for February during which time students will construct a fun and surprisingly easily crafted necklace using a netting technique. The sessions are set for two consecutive Wednesdays, February 15 and 22 at the Clinton County Arts Council Gallery.
Ms. Laverty explained that each class will range from a minimum of two to a maximum of eight students and run from 6:30p to 9p. Course fee will be $35.00 which includes hands-on and written instructions plus all needed supplies.
“This is a delightful necklace,” she said, “and will look wonderful with turtle necks or tank tops. On top of that, it is truly enjoyable to assemble.”
The Gallery is located at 215 N. Clinton Ave. in St. Johns. Students may learn details by contacting the Art Council at 989 224-2429 or by calling Ms. Laverty 517 775-0168. Those who reserve spots on the schedule should plan on arriving at the Gallery Feb. 15 at 6p to select supplies.
