Arts Council dates set

For Spring Beading Classes
A pair of special beading classes at the Arts Council’s Gallery March 21 and 28 will provide beaders with a piece to step into spring by creating an eye catching bracelet that will draw unending compliments.
According to instructor Deborah Laverty, formation of the bracelet embraces a spiral rope technique, which is an uncomplicated process because of its repetitive pattern. Capping the handiwork will be a simple toggle clasp that complements the bracelet and merits interest the entire piece attracts.
Classes are scheduled for two consecutive Wednesdays, March 21 and 28, with each session running from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Class fee is $35.00, including all necessary supplies. Minimum attendance is two students; maximum 14 and students must be 14 years or older. Classes will be held at Clinton County Arts Council Gallery, 215 N. Clinton Ave., in St. Johns. Students are encouraged to arrive at 6p March 21 to select supplies.
For further information or to reserve a spot, interested persons may call the Gallery, 989 224-2429 or Ms Laverty direct, 517 775-0168.

A magnet for compliments is a phrase that aptly describes this spiral rope bracelet which is the featured piece in two beading classes scheduled for March 21 and 28 at the Gallery.
