The National Federation of the Blind (NFB)) Lansing Chapter will be holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Friday, June 14, 2013. The fundraiser will take place from 5:30-7:30 pm at the St. Johns First United Methodist Church located at 200 E State Street (M-21) St. Johns, MI.
Tickets are $8.50 for adults and $4.00 for children aged ten and under. Parking is available on Linden Street. The dinner will be held on the lower level of the church and is handicap accessible.
The NFB is the oldest and largest group of the organized blind with more than 50,000 members that gather in local, state and national meetings to support and encourage one another. The Lansing chapter assists local blind individuals in the tri-county area to achieve self-confidence, self-respect, and self-determination. The goal of the NFB is the complete integration of the blind into society on a basis of equality.
