Bookaholics Book Club:
The May selection for the Bookaholics Book Club is “The Bone Garden” by Tess Gerritsen. This exciting novel follows two stories that take place in two different eras. The first story is set in the present, where a long-buried body is unearthed in Julia Hamill’s backyard. The second story is set in 1830, where medical student Norris Marshall is accused of being a mass murderer. Norris works with fellow student Oliver Wendell Holmes in an attempt to clear his name, while in the present day, Julia tries to find the identity of the body buried in her backyard. Copies of “The Bone Garden” are now available at the circulation desk, and all adult patrons over the age of 21 are welcome at the Bookaholics when we meet at Bruno’s in downtown St. Johns Thursday, May 17 at 7:30pm.
