Easter Bunny Visit and more
Who’s hopping down the bunny trail to Briggs Library? The Easter Bunny of course! The Easter Bunny is appearing at the library on Tuesday, April 19th from 7 to 8 p.m. This free program will provide a photograph of your child with the Easter Bunny. There will also be stories, games, a craft and a sweet treat. Registration is required and begins on March 29th.
Mother’s Day Program
Grandmothers, mothers, aunts and children (boys and girls ages 3 and up) are invited to attend our Mothers Day Program on Tuesday, May 3rd from 7-8 pm. Stories, light refreshments and a spring craft will be provided for all to enjoy. Registration is required and begins on April 5th. Space is limited so mark you calendar for this free program!
Get Caught Reading
The Library is having a fundraiser entitled “Get Caught Reading” during National Library Week. Submit your cutest reading snapshop. All ages can participate. Pictures can be turned into the Library during the month of March. There is a $5 entry fee per photo and a limit of one entry per family.
The Library will take the first 26 entries and all pictures must be approved by Library staff. The picture should be no larger than 5×7. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want your picture returned. The pictures will be on display to kick off National Library week.
Library patrons will vote with money for their favorite photo April 10-30. The photo with the most votes will win a prize. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards Children’s Programming at the Library.
Knights and Ladies and Dragons Oh My!
Tweens join us for a medieval adventure on Monday, April 4th from 7:00-8:00pm. The program will feature a craft, game and refreshments. Registration is required and program is open to all tweens, ages 9-12.
