Get Caught Reading! National Library Week Fundraiser and more
To kick off National Library Week “Reading Snapshots” entries will be on display for all to vote for. Votes for your favorite photo are made with donations of coins or paper money. Photo with the most vote$ will win a prize. Proceeds from entry fees and votes will go towards Children’s Programs. There is still time to enter the contest, pictures must be turned in @ circulation desk by March 31st (limit of 26 entries). There is a $5.00 entry fee per 5×7 or smaller photo. Limit one photo per family. Please support our National Library Week Fundraiser with your votes.

Easter Bunny Visit

Who’s hopping down the bunny trail to Briggs Library? The Easter Bunny of course! The Easter Bunny is appearing at the library on Tuesday, April 19th from 7 to 8 p.m. This free program will provide a photograph of your child with the Easter Bunny. There will also be stories, games, a craft and a sweet treat. Registration is required.
Mother’s Day Program
An exciting addition to our Mother’s Day Program! Along with stories for all to enjoy, local author Carla Anderson Wardin will be sharing readings from her new book “Every Other Twin Book is Wrong: 15 Tips on Twin Pregnancy, Infancy and Toddler Times”. Mark your calendar for Tuesday evening, May 3rd, 7-8 pm. Grandmothers, Mothers and children 3 and up are welcome to enjoy light refreshments and a craft. Registration for this free program is required and begins April 5th.
Library Closure
The Library will close at 1:00 pm on Friday April 22nd in observance of Good Friday and will be closed Saturday April 23rd for the Easter Holiday. The drop box on the Library porch will be available for returns throughout this closure.
