Musical Folktales and much more
Thursday, July 21st, from 7 to 8 pm. Briggs Public Library is excited to present a unique program, “Musical Folktales” that combines interactive storytelling, beautiful music, and audience participation. There will also be hands-on fun with musical instruments from around the world. Tasty theme related home-made cookies and a refreshing drink will be available. This free performance is sponsored by the Library Friends Group. Please join us for this exceptional and world expanding experience!
Chapter Chatter Program
Children ages 6 through 8 are invited to register for the Chapter Chatter Program which takes place on Monday evenings, 7-7:45 pm, August 1st thru August 22nd. Over the course of four weeks the independent listeners will be traveling with Dodsworth to New York, Paris, Rome and London. These chapter tales are new to the library and there will be destination themed “yummy” treats, and crafts or games to go along with each story. Guessing Contest Winners
Whether it is “hot” or whether it is “cold” we always have wonderful tales to be told! Heat Miser under the sun and Cold Miser in the shade 69 was the best guess made. There were 68 snowflakes & red hots and Bobby Bunn made the closest guess on this icy hot mess!
Tween Program
There is still time to register for the Tween (ages 9-12) Program on Tuesday, July 26th at 7p.m. Come discover Monsters of the World.
Library Closure
The Library will be closed on Saturday August 13th for the Mint Festival. The drop box on the Library porch will be available for returns throughout this closure.
