CCH named to Top 100 Best Places to Work

Carson City Hospital (CCH) has been named to the 2011 Becker’s Hospital Review/Becker’s ASC Review list of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare.
The 100 workplaces named to this list represent a wide spectrum of facilities, from leading health systems to small community hospitals to ambulatory surgery centers and physician practices.
“We’re incredibly proud of this recognition,” said CCH Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Matthew J. Thompson, FACHE. “We know this is a fantastic place to work, with employees who truly care and are passionate about making sure every patient has an exceptional experience during their stay. This national recognition means a lot to everyone here.”
According to Becker’s, each organization named to this elite list has put tremendous thought into the building blocks that make up a great workplace: robust benefits, opportunities for self-improvement, employee appreciation and strong ties between staff members, to name a few. These organizations set and meet high standards for employee satisfaction and demonstrate to the industry that quality care begins with an engaged workforce. This list was created through a three-month nomination process, extensive research and feedback from health-care industry leaders on the final selection of candidates. For a variety of reasons, the editors ultimately determined to focus the list on hospitals, health systems, surgery centers and large physician practices. The list excludes advertisers.
