Friday, March 29
First Congregational Church and First United Methodist Church are joining together to offer a Community Good Friday Service on Friday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. at First Congregational, 100 Maple St. in Saint Johns. A nursery will be available.
The service will be a Taizé-style worship based on the seven last words of Christ. Taizé is a contemplative style of worship, which uses prayer, repetition, songs, and silence to focus on God’s presence.
An offering will be taken to benefit the SafeCenter, the area agency that provides assistance for those facing domestic and sexual abuse. Their 24-Hour Crisis Line is 877.952.7283.
