Car smashes into church
On September 3, 2010 at 0021 hours a 25-year-old male was operating his vehicle southbound on Mead Street from State Street when his vehicle left the roadway on the east side of Mead Street.
The vehicle then drove through the grass right-of-way, across the parking lot of Community Christian Church and struck the church building.
The vehicle left the scene southbound on Mead Street and was stopped by Officer French shortly thereafter at Swegles Street and Lambert Street. The vehicle operator was cited at the scene.
