Concert in the Park July 8
Combine an excellent voice with great harmonica and slide guitar playing skills and outstanding song writing, and you’ve got a fantastic Blues/Rock/Americana musician – Pete “Big Dog” Fetters.
The award-winning artist is bringing his own brand of music to the St. Johns City Park Performance Shell July 8 for the weekly Music in the Park series. Show time is 7 p.m. at the beautiful outdoor venue; no admission charge.

From his home base in Wyandotte, Fetters travels throughout the Midwest, East and Southeast U.S. performing for audiences of all ages. He won the Detroit Blues Challenge in 2006 and represented the City of Detroit at The International Blues Challenge held in Memphis, Tenn.
Fetters lived in Nashville, Tenn., in the mid 1980s through early ’90s, spending time with some of great songwriters in that city, and later writing “Midnight Walkin’ Blues” which was featured in the 2007 PBS series “Road Trip Nation.”
The “Big Dog” began his own record label in the mid ’90s and has recorded nine CDs in the past 13 years.
His latest CD, “Live at New Center Park,” is a live recording of a show from 2013 at New Center Park in Detroit.
