Computers for Kids and Habitat partner

Just in time for Christmas, Clinton Conservation District’s “Computers for Kids” program is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Clinton County to give away three refurbished computers. The drawing will take place on Thursday, December 23 at Noon at the Habitat ReStore, located at 2352 N. US 27, St. Johns.

The “Computers for Kids” program, organized by Gary Fritz, Conservation District Executive Director and his son Chris, is in its third year of refurbishing donated computers and installing updated software for local area kids.
In this case, the computers are being donated to Habitat for Humanity of Clinton County, where the proceeds will help Habitat build their next home for a family in need of a decent, affordable and safe place to live. Habitat’s plan is to break ground in Spring 2011 on donated property in Ovid.
Don’t miss out on this amazing drawing! To sign up, stop by the Clinton Conservation District, located at 2343 N. US 27, or the Habitat ReStore, located across the street, Tuesday through Thursday from 10 AM to 5 PM. In addition to the drawing, there will be similar computers for sale at the Habitat ReStore at very reasonable prices.
