Catherine Rumbaugh retires

Director of the Museum

The Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum Advisory Board accepted Catherine Rumbaugh’s resignation as Director of the Museum at its January 2011 meeting with great sadness and emotion, as Catherine has been the revered and honored Executive Director for 32 years.
Diane Carlson was unanimously appointed as her successor and was confirmed at the February 7th meeting of the Clinton County Historical Society. Diane has been a respected Advisory Board Member for 10 years, having served as Assistant Director, Advisory Board Secretary and Tea Committee Chairperson for five successful Fundraising Events. Diane’s leadership and proven organizational skills give the Museum a bright future.
