CROP Walk is Sunday

October 3
Do you have enough? What does enough mean for you? For your family? Our society tells us that enough is just a little bit more than what we presently have. Sometimes what’s “enough” for us looks like great wealth to others around the world. As we prepare for our community’s CROP Hunger Walk, consider how our efforts can assist those who struggle just to survive. By supporting our CROP Hunger Walk, you help build a world where there can be enough for all: enough food, enough fresh water, enough opportunity to grow and prosper. Please join us!!
On Sunday, October 3, 2010 in the City Park at 2 p.m. many Churches in St. Johns will participate in the 3-mile long CROP Hunger Walk. If you even are unable to walk, you can become a “Spirit Walker.”
Where the money will be allocated:
25% to Clinton County Food Bank / Meals On Wheels
10% to Church World Service
65% can be allocated to another charitable organization…such as Catholic Relief Services. This is easy to do…input CRS under Designation online and for those using envelopes, right CRS on the Right Side of the CROPWALKER envelope in the Sponsor Designation column.
Many families participate with their children! (strollers are allowed!)
Hope you can make it.
