The DeWitt Chamber of Commerce will host its first annual Holiday Light Parade on Saturday, December 7. Line-up begins at 4pm. Judging starts at 4:30pm. Parade time is 5:45-6pm.
The parade, led by Santa Claus in a horse-drawn wagon, travels through downtown DeWitt past the Riverside Park where the holiday tree with be lighted.
There is no cost to enter, but all entrants must register with the Chamber prior to Dec. 7 by calling Loretta Spinrad at 517.668.3635 or emailing Loretta@dewittareacc.org
Judging of lighted parade entries focuses on three categories: Best Decorated Vehicle, Most Unique, and Spirit of Christmas.
