Charlie Thelen started working at Federal-Mogul on February 23, 1977 in production. On January 13, 1986 he transferred into Maintenance.
Charlie eventually worked in a separate area of Maintenance call the Tin Shop. That’s where they made machine guards and custom exhaust vents out of sheet metal.
Charlie had several relatives who worked at Federal-Mogul at one time or another including his mother, Rita Thelen. Others include aunts Thelma Miller and Alice Gallagher, uncles Fred Rodgers, and Charlie Kuripla, cousins John Miller, Mike Gallagher, and Pat Gallagher.
