Planning meeting July 26
Clinton County Community Garden is started. If you didn’t have a chance to put in a garden this year and would like to participate in the care and reaping the rewards of the Clinton County Community Garden, we would like to see you at our planning meeting. Monday July 26th at 6:30 pm at the Clinton County Courthouse, EOC rm.-garden level.
We are looking for team members who are interested in putting in a garden for the 2011 year and caring for the garden started.
Vegetable plants and seeds have been donated by local greenhouses: Simpson Brothers Greenhouse, Ovid; Howe’s Greenhouse, DeWitt; and Shady Mae Nursery, Elsie.
The garden is at 301 N Scott Rd. Clinton Transit will be providing access to an acre of land for a community garden under the auspices of the St. Johns Master Gardener Volunteer Program.
