Gabriel and Luther Senter and their son James are pictured among the over 40 participants in the groundbreaking ceremony and blessing of the build that took place on Sunday, July 24.
Among those who participated are Senter family members, Habitat board members and staff, as well as members of the Apostle churches who are sponsoring the building of this home.
The church sponsors include United Church of Ovid; Salem, Maple Rapids and Lowe UMC Churches; The Catholic Community of St. Jude-DeWitt; First UMC-St. Johns; St. Joseph Catholic Church-St. Johns; Pilgrim UMC-St. Johns; and the partnership of Church of the Living Word-Ovid, Bath and Gunnisonville UMC Churches and Chapel Hill and Crossroads UMC Churches.
Sponsors provide funding and volunteer labor throughout the build that began July 25 and is scheduled to be complete by mid-November.
