And Christmas Carols on December 2, 3
Wilson Center Auditorium will be alive with the sounds of the holidays on November 30, December 1 and December 2 as Homegrown Productions brings Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” to St. Johns.
“We’re wrapping a holiday classic in music of the season,” says Susan DeRosa, co-director.
Part one of the show features some of Clinton County’s favorite singers: Beth and Tom Webb, Charles P. Graham, Bill Brown, Marci Balogh, Darryl Schmitz, Patty Kjolhede, Barbara Moss, and Chuck Biewer.
Part two is a radio-style adaptation of Dickens’ story featuring Keith Mino as Ebenezer Scrooge, Darryl Schmitz as Marley’s ghost, Charles Graham and John Gross as the Spirits of Christmas past and present and Marci Balogh as the narrator. In true radio style, a group of actors will play several parts and provide live sound effects.
The program ends with an audience sing along.
Show times are 7:30 pm on November 30 and December 1 and 2:00 pm on December 2. General admission for this special event is $10.00; tickets for students and seniors are $5.00. All proceeds will support the continuing renovation of the Wilson Center Auditorium.
Bring the family, invite your neighbors and remind your friends to enjoy this celebration of holiday spirit.
