Terry Rouse, Grand Knight and Michael Trebesh, trustee of Knights of Columbus, St John Council #3281 distributed dictionaries to local third grade students.
The third grade teachers Dorian Cormier and Dorella Page-Hunter helped coordinate this annual event.
Trebesh said dictionaries have united people through the power of words since they were created over 2,000 years ago. Without words we cannot share our ideas with others.
The St. Johns Knights of Columbus have distributed dictionaries to third grade students for over ten years and as usual the students graciously and enthusiastically welcomed the Knights and gifts.
