Legion Auxiliary awards first certificate

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 153 of St. Johns presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Al Nelson, owner of Cellular Connections, for displaying a spirit of patriotism.
Cellular Connections was chosen as the first recipient of this award because not only does Al display the American flag, but he also has a Wall of Honor paying tribute to more than 60 area service men and women who work to defend our freedoms. Cellular Connections also donates to American Legion Post 153, VFW Post 4113, and the St. Johns Military Moms for their work on veterans and current military projects.
This will be a monthly project of the Auxiliary as they honor area businesses for flying the American flag and other acts which display pride in America.
