Lawmaker looks forward to hearing from residents
State Rep. Tom Leonard will host his regularly scheduled office hours in March in St. Johns and Ithaca.
Due to a conflict in Rep. Leonard’s schedule, the office hours scheduled for Friday, March 8 at the Big Boy restaurant in St. Johns, 1408 S. U.S. 27, from 9 to 11 a.m. will be covered by Leonard’s Legislative Director Phil Goodrich.
Rep. Leonard will host office hours at the Mayor’s Office Coffee Shop, 142 E. Center St. in Ithaca on Friday, March 15 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Leonard plans to hold regularly scheduled office hours in St. Johns on the second Friday of every month at Big Boy and in Ithaca on the third Friday of each month at the Mayor’s Office Coffee Shop.
“Office hours are a great way to learn about the issues on the minds of constituents,” Leonard said. “I can be more effective at my job when I maintain an open dialogue with the residents in my district.”
