I have just been researching my family tree and discovered that I am indirectly related to Abigail Corbin Peck. From how you have described her, she seems to have been a very kind-hearted, brave, independent and feisty woman.
I felt bad when I saw no one had responded to your post . . . so I thought that I would respond.
Ancestry.com says she is my 3rd Great Grandmother of the wife of my 1st cousin twice removed. What that means, I have no idea. If you have any info that you could send along, I would greatly appreciate it.
You know, even as I sit here and type this to you, I am coming to realize just how wonderful a person she must have been back in that day and age, and I would really like to know more about her.
